My current research involves comparative analysis of muscle attachment sites in various species of cats. Recent work has centered on developing muscle maps for the clouded leopard (Neofelis nebulosa) and comparing them with those of the common house cat (Felis catus). These types of analyses can then be used to examine comparative muscular action in these living species of animal as well as that of extinct species such as the saber toothed cat.
