Gurler Heritage Association Folk Music Fest 2008

Saturday, June 14  Noon - 4:45 PM

Sponsored by the Mary E. Stevens Concert Fund and the GHA

On Saturday, June 14th, the sounds of stringed instruments, wistful harmonies, and knee-slapping rural rhythms will fill the air at 205 Pine Street in DeKalb.
For the SEVENTH year in a row, the Gurler Heritage Association is hosting a daylong folk music festival on the grounds of Gurler House. This event is sponsored in part with a grant from the Mary E. Stevens Concert and Lecture Fund. We gratefully acknowledge the sponsorship of public radio station WNIJ, 89.5 FM, in DeKalb, IL.  Food will be available all afternoon, along with the music. Come and enjoy, bring your friends, bring your kids!
