Research Interests

My main focus is running the teaching laboratories for our general education and introductory courses. Much of my work involves designing laboratory exercises and training graduate teaching assistants in pedagogy. My primary interests include: teaching methodology, concept analysis, and the philosophy of science.

I am also the Grievance Officer and a founding member of NIU's Instructors' Union. Information on the bargaining unit, including the text of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement, may be found at http://www.upi4100.org/niu/
