Greenhouse Facility

Three structures totaling 6000 square feet, divided into eleven separate rooms, make up the Biology department's greenhouse facility. While the majority of space is devoted to research activities, 3 1/2 rooms plus an indoor pond and terrarium area make up the teaching collection which contains approximately 117 plant families. We are proud to be a "full service" greenhouse, offering complete crop care including planting, propagation, custom media blending, watering, fertilization and pest management administration. The facility also stocks a comprehensive inventory of horticultural supplies for use by faculty and students.
