The department staffs and maintains state of the art computing facilities, confocal microscopy facility, a core DNA analysis lab, a graphic design facility, a greenhouse, a growth chamber facility, an herbarium, a museum, and a woodworking shop. All these facilities make research and the publication and presentation of research easier for the faculty and students in the department.. In addition, The university maintains four natural areas for instruction and research.
